This mattress is everything we hoped for. Top quality, at an affordable price. We immediately laid down using our included new pillow package and really did not want to get back up! I think I've finally found the best mattress I have ever owned! I'm no longer waking up in pain, and can sleep through the night without tossing and turning. This is by far the heaviest mattress I've ever had, so making the bed the first time was humorous. I wasn't expecting the corners to be that heavy, but I was able to work it out! Definitely would recommend, and have been bragging about it to anyone who will listen.

This replaced our first Stearns and Foster which we loved. Our new Stearns and Foster is great. My wife's back pain went away immediately. We thought our first Stearns and Foster was still pretty firm. It lasted a really long time, but we did not realize how overdue we were for a mattress. That's how great Stearns and Foster mattresses are. We are so happy we purchased another one. No regrets! Well worth the great night's sleep.

I've always been a fan of Stearns & Foster and have owned several of their mattresses in the past, but this particular King Pillow Top Soft model has been a major letdown. We purchased it in August '24, and since then, we've ended up sleeping in our guest room more often than our own bed - which is really saying something.
The issue seems to be in the support structure of the mattress. While the middle of the bed feels great - soft yet supportive without a big dip - the sides noticeably sink in. This isn't just typical body contouring; it's a structural dip that creates a raised hump in the center. It puts our bodies into a subtle "V" shape, resulting in hip pain and a feeling like you're sleeping on an, unsupportive surface along the sides. I wish the mattress as a whole was crafter equally in the center and sides.
This isn't what I expect from a premium mattress - especially not from Stearns & Foster.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality and Unhelpful Support from Stearns & Foster
I purchased a Stearns & Foster Estate mattress less than seven months ago, and I am extremely disappointed - both in the product and the company's response to a clear quality issue.
From day one, this mattress has been fully protected with a high-quality mattress topper. Despite never being directly exposed to any wear or friction, the fabric cover on the mattress has begun to tear. I filed a warranty claim, expecting support for what is obviously a premature material failure. To my surprise, the response I received was that this issue was not something I should be filing a warranty claim for.
Even more frustrating, I asked if there was anything I could do to prevent further tearing, and the representative offered no suggestions or guidance whatsoever. The communication was cold, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful. It was clear they were more interested in avoiding responsibility than standing behind their product.
The result is that I am now stuck with a mattress - barely seven months old - with a cover that is visibly tearing and will only continue to degrade. It is unacceptable for a brand that markets itself as "luxury" to offer a product with such poor durability and then provide no support when issues arise.
This mattress is now being moved to a guest room because I no longer feel comfortable sleeping on it, and I am genuinely frustrated to have spent a significant amount of money on something that feels so cheaply made and poorly backed.
I will not purchase from Stearns & Foster again, and I strongly encourage others to consider alternative brands that not only deliver quality but also stand behind their products and treat their customers with respect. A luxury brand should offer more than a name - it should offer accountability, durability, and service. Stearns & Foster has failed in all three.

Bed is very comfortable and we love it BUT ,,,,, after 3 and 1/2 years or so it's like sleeping in a hole. I was told this is top of the line and it was going to last 10 years. When I spend $3500 to $5000 I expect it to be comfortable longer than 4 years..

The associates at Bitter Neuman in Waupaca WI were very knowledgeable about this product. It is a very comfortable mattress. My hip and shoulder pain have disappeared. I'm a side sleeper. I have regained my healthy sleep.

I have had excruciating back and neck pain for 20 plus years. For the past 5 years it has also been in my shoulder and hips following menopause. I have had a mattress from Original Mattress Factory. I had a Casper memory foam and it was awful. I spent 2 weeks sleeping on my sister's bed while house and dog sitting
Her (Sterns & Foster Lux Estate pillow top in king size) and it was the best most comfortable sleep I've had in 20+ years
My back pain is much better. I have no more pain in my neck, hips, and shoulders. After 3 weeks of sleeping on my mattress. I can still give you 5 stars.

I've been sleeping on the Stearns & Foster Estate Firm Tight Top mattress for a few weeks now, and it's been a game changer. It's the perfect balance: firm support underneath keeps my back aligned, but the top layer has a plush, comfortable feel that makes it easy to relax into sleep. (Side note: I tried the pillow top firm in store and i personally thought the pillow top was too squishy. This mattress without the pillow top is perfect for me because i like a firm feel.)
As someone who usually sleeps hot, I was surprised by how breathable this mattress is. it really helps regulate temperature well and i don't wake up sweaty.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this mattress!

I'm a back sleeper, and for years I thought I was sleeping "okay" on my old IKEA mattress-until I switched to the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Collection. Now, I realize just how much I had been missing out.
From the very first night, this mattress felt like a revelation. I sank into it-not in a way that makes you feel stuck, but in the most perfectly supportive, cloud-like way. As someone who sleeps on their back, spinal support is really important to me, and this mattress delivers exactly that. My lower back feels gently cradled, and my shoulders and neck stay aligned all night.

We bought medium but it was softer than expected. Otherwise, we were happy with our purchase. We did not realize we really should have purchased a solid foundation even though we have very sturdy box springs. We plan to purchase the solid foundation.

There are deep depressions around the "button" sections on this pillow top. I don't know if I should've ordered a medium or that pillow top in general is just not good for me. This is very uncomfortable and hurts my hips. I need pressure point relief which is why I bought the pillow top soft. Apparently it was a mistake. Maybe a soft straight top would have been better. For reference, I sleep alone and weight 175 lbs.

My husband and I originally bought an earlier version of this mattress about 20 years ago for my daughter. It was easily the most comfortable mattress in our home and any mattress I had ever slept on in my life. We have since moved and we brought her furniture, including the mattress with us. She was relieved that we did so. Her partner asked if it was available in king size. She asked if I knew what mattress it was. Fortunately, I remembered that we purchased it at mattress warehouse and identified the manufacturer on the mattress. And sure enough the model has been continued to this day. If you are hesitant, believe me, you will never regret purchasing this mattress.

I love this mattress. I am a side and stomach sleeper and was experiencing a lot of hip pain when sleeping on my previous mattress. I thought this might be too firm, but figured I'd give it a shot. Since there was a 90-day return. I don't plan on returning it! My hip pain is gone and I sleep throughout the night comfortably!

I've been sleeping on this mattress for a week now and it's been a game changer. It's super supportive but still soft where it counts, and I don't overheat like I did with my old one. I wake up feeling way more rested, and my back pain is noticeably better.
I sleep cooler at night, and I don't feel my partner moving around at all. Definitely the best sleep I've had in a long time. The support is great because it has more support then a traditional all foam mattress which is nice for someone such as myself that appreciates a firmer mattress rather than something super soft and plush. This mattress is awesome. I finally found a perfect mattress with reasonable price. I am very very picky and was skeptical about a hybrid after having a memory mattress for 10 plus years. But I do not regret buying this at all. It's not super soft, but not too hard. I wake up with NO back or shoulder pain anymore.

Wish I would have gone to a mattress store.and the "white glove delivery "is not at all what they describe two guys drug the mattress across my lawn and scuffed stair way walls . I purchased this in the full size for a spare bedroom to try it out before committing to a king-size. I have long-standing back pain and most mattresses I've tried start losing support pretty quickly, they get that valley in them, and I only weigh about 120. I've been sleeping on this mattress for about a month - it's incredibly comfortable, and I wake up with no back pain. There was no smell and it doesn't get hot (had both of those issues with other mattresses). It's pricy but to sleep well is worth it! Worth noting - it's also incredibly heavy so make sure you know where you want delivery to put it - moving the bed or changing it to another room definitely takes two people.

We are hard to please when it comes to mattresses ... and we have tried them all. My spouse has many aches and pains stemming from injuries in her past, compounded by significant fibromialgia. My second Stearns and Foster. My previous one was great, this is even better. I have sleep apnea and do not like the machine. But this mattress and special pillows that came with it have me getting a great nights sleep. Super soft and yet very firm.

This mattress was great for the first couple years and then it got two big indentations from where we sleep. I sent many many photos for the warranty to replace the mattress, but they would not. Getting a new mattress delivered today what a shame!

I used to have a memory foam mattress and it was comfortable, some times, but did not help keep me cool. I have been eyeing a Stearns and Foster for a while not only for the supposed comfort but also for the touted quality. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed after it arrived. It is also nice knowing the mattress was constructed start to finish from one person… it adds a more personal touch to the experience. So after sleeping on this mattress for almost a month, I am pleased to say I have noticed a huge improvement in my sleep quality and that I am cool throughout the night. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a better nights sleep.

I just purchased a Stearns and Foster Estate queen firm with the fabulous pillow top mattress. I have thus far had 2 nights wonderful sleep on my new mattress and it has made a difference already on the duration of my sleep and how well my back and leg feel upon arising. When I went in to purchase a new mattress I spent a lot of time reclining on many various options and although there were some quite comfortable mattresses, nothing felt as perfect for me as the Stearns and Foster firm with the amazing soft topping. After only two nights I am sure I made the right choice.

It's taken a couple years and a many beds to finally find the right one. I don't sink in it because it's firm, and the pillow top gives the right amount of softness. It's expensive but it's what I needed. It's the Estate collection firm pillowtop. I'm an overweight senior citizen who's had both hips replaced. I also got the adjustable bed frame so I can keep my
head elevated. The frame needs improvement but it works. The worst part was the delivery service. It took 3 weeks to deliver the bed and the guys that delivered it were not in to it. It's considered white glove delivery because the bring it in and set it up. It's more like drop it and run service. My husband made them wait until he got batteries and made sure the adjustable frame worked. There was no paperwork at all. I had to go online and print it. The delivery guy actually said "there's two buttons, up and down". For the amount of money I spent, and the name Stearns and Foster I expected much better service. It's actually a part of Sealy.

Si much more comfortable options out there for so much less. This mattress is not comfortable and feels so cheap. I first got the standard medium and it felt so stiff and flat. Switched to a soft and paid significantly more. Yes it's softer but still not comfortable and feels very low end. Avoid!
